Cintiq Pro 16” Wacom Link Update

Many artists have bought the new Cintiq Pro for all the advancements Wacom has made, especially the 4K resolution. But they’ve frequently said that the Cintiq Pro 16” is not capable of reaching 4K when using the Wacom Link connecting to computers with only Thunderbolt. However, a few users have found that the issue is not the Link, but the Thunderbolt cable itself can’t support 4K. After using the Cintiq Pro 13” from Wacom’s new line-up, I’d have to say it’s a great go-between when thinking about either getting a tablet or large Cintiq. I’ve been using it for a couple months now since pre-ordering, and it’s pretty awesome! Being a student, I don’t have the budget for a 27” Cintiq, so the 13 or 16” is a great compromise on cost and versatility.
